The purpose of this website is to introduce my law practice to those interested in divorce mediation: a gentler, more civil and less expensive way to dissolve a marriage than the traditional litigated approach.

The site is also intended as a source of information. If you’re contemplating divorce, you’ll be better off for having read the material presented here whether you use my services or those of another attorney. Armed with that information you’ll be an educated consumer of legal services as well as better able to appreciate the problems you’re facing.

The divorce page presents some general information on divorce in Massachusetts highlighting the differences between mediation and the adversarial, litigated approach. The Mediation page describes mediation as the quickest, least stressful, and least costly way to obtain a divorce. Mediation does, however, require that the couple be on civil enough terms to negotiate with one another (with the help of the mediator).
