Marlboro Pest Control, Inc. was started in 1985 by Roy Hansen Sr., father of the present owner Roy Hansen Jr. We have been providing complete residential, commercial pest control services to Marlborough and the surrounding communities since then. For many years, our officewas located on Ferrecchia Drive in Marlborough. Our businesshas benexpanding and we recently moved in to new office on Boston Post Road East(Route 20) for continued growth and clients convenience. Marlboro Pest Control offers full pest control services to residential, condo, rental, and commercial properties. We also offer a full range of termite control methods to all types of properties. As licensed builders, we also understand the structural impact of pest infestations and can provide fast and convenient carpentry repair at damaged sites.

Residential: For residences, we offer a number of cost-effective pest control plans to suit many situations. Our full-service annual plan is a fixed-price service that includes most insects and whatever visits are needed for control. Our single-pest plans are appropriate for people who have a single pest (e.g., carpenter ants or mice). We also offer general inspections (no treatment) to assess your situation, and inspections suitable for buying or selling a home. We will treat outbuildings and pool areas too, usually at no additional cost.

Condo/Rental: Our service for condominiums and rental property is similar to that for single-family structures, but we offer additional services for common areas such as laundry rooms, hallways, pool areas, garages, and fences. We offer cost-effective plans for regular inspections of the property and treatment when necessary. We can include individual condo units or apartments in our plans, or we can be on-call for service as needed.

Commercial: We provide service for many kinds of nonresidential structures such as office buildings, warehouses, farm buildings, restaurants, and houses of worship. Usually, we provide regularly scheduled inspection services with treatment as necessary. We provide tear-down inspections for contractors.

Carpentry: Our owner is a licensed contractor who can provide carpentry work to repair pest damage, and who can also provide full carpentry services for our clients.

The house mouse is considered one of the most troublesome and economically important rodents in the United States. House mice thrive under a variety of conditions. They are found in and around homes and farms as well as in open fields and agricultural lands. House mice consume and contaminate food meant for humans, livestock, or other animals. They cause damage to structures and property, and they transmit diseases such as salmonellosis and swine dysentery.

Exclusion is the most successful and permanent form of house mouse control. Build them out by eliminating all gaps and openings larger than inch, through which mice will enter a structure. We use copper mest to Seal cracks in building foundations and around openings for water pipes, vents, and utility cables with metal or concrete. Doors, windows, and screens should fit tightly. It may be necessary to cover the edges of doors and windows with metal to prevent gnawing. Plastic screening, rubber or vinyl, insulating foam, wood, and other gnawable materials are unsuitable for plugging holes used by mice. We also inspect roof line to make sure there are no openings.
