December is an entirely different time of the year at Harbor Garden Center. Yes, most gardening has come to a stop. But, if you stop by the store, you may not recognize us. During late November and thru Christmas, we give up our "The Yard and Garden Experts" and become "The Christmas Decorating Experts". When we started in business 28 years ago, Tim knew that there was a need for this area to have a store that offered the best quality products and services. We have done that with lawn and garden and we continue to do that with holiday decorating.

All of our wreaths are custom decorated. Each one is a unique design. Our kissing balls are all uniquely designed too. Yet, if you come in and ask us to design a wreath or a kissing ball to the color scheme for your home or business, we can do that for you. Our Poinsettias are locally grown and are the best looking that you will find anywhere! We carry many types of evergreen garland and we also have fresh cut evergreen boughs from the New England states and from Oregon and Washington State. We carry wreaths made of boughs from the West Coast as well as the traditional Balsam wreaths. If you are looking for a Christmas tree, Harbor Garden Center is the place to go. We have Balsam Fir, Fraser Fir, Concolor Fir and Blue Spruce. Small trees to big trees. We will put a fresh cut on the base of the tree and wrap up the tree in our baling machine to make it easier for you to get it into your home. We’ll even tie the tree on the car for you.

Once you walk into the store, you are likely to say "WOW". It’s a pretty common comment. Look to your left and there is a wall of bows. Bows of all types and colors, ready to go. You may have noticed that there are several displays of "Buy 2 Get 1 Free" tree ornaments. Walk down the center aisle and on the left is ribbon by the yard, all kinds of quality Christmas lights, you know, the type that last for years and years. Next comes all types of window candles, replacement bulbs, extension cords, suction cups and so many more things that you have been looking for but not finding at other stores. Need a tree stand? We have them for 3-foot trees and we have them for 14-foot trees and a stand for every other size tree. Don’t forget to turn around and see all those poinsettias lining the center aisle. If you need decorations for your wreaths, we have all of those too. If you need an artificial wreath, we have those too. Not a run of the mill cheap looking wreath, but the most life-like wreaths you will find. The same goes for our artificial garlands.

Gift items abound in our store. Beautiful hand-tuned wind chimes. Sundials too. A walk through our gift department will always allow you to find something that is the right gift. We have beautiful holiday themed flags too.

If you haven’t been to Harbor Garden Center at this time of the year, you have missed out on your 1-stop Christmas decorating shop. Easy parking right outside the door. We are open Monday through Saturday 9 to 6 and Sunday 9 to 5.
