As an artist, I am able to gaze through the window of simplicity, and envision the miraculous. Inspiration captures me when I least expect it strolling through the woods, walking along the shores of the sea, meditating, or even making dinner. My dream is to bring those images to life with my own artistic creations designed especially for women. Transforming various materials and textures into wearable art is an expression of my heart and spirit, and my unique way of giving back to the universe. As Ralph Waldo Emerson said, In art, the hand can never execute anything higher than the heart can imagine.
Lauren Teller created artful handbags to complete every outfit, and to inspire modern women toward greater joy and giving. A Silver Lining handbag is a unique combination of inspired collage, timeless style, sensual materials, and uplifting affirmations. Silver Lining is committed to the global betterment of women through the funding of education and micro-loans.
Laurens passion and ability as an artist, led her to the creation of Silver Lining, after she attended the Breakthrough to Success seminar, in August 2007.
Through the training and support that she found within that seminar, Lauren developed a stronger belief in herself, and her designs. This process enabled Lauren to cultivate Silver Lining, and help her realize that she wanted to support other women through her own artistic designs and inspired affirmations.
Lauren has a strong desire to give back, which is why ten percent of the proceeds from her sales will go toward Women for Women International. This organization transforms women's lives by offering education and micro-loans to female survivors of war. Silver Lining is a listed supporter, with a web link on the Women for Women International web site.
10% ofall sales are sent directly to Women For Women International to helpsupport women while they are acquiring the skills necessary to support themselves.
