The Perfect Vacation Destination
Welcome to The Northey Street House, Salem's bewitching B&B. This inn is centrally located in the heart of Salem Massachusetts, on a quiet little street between the Salem Common and the North River called Bridge Street Neck, a National Historical District. The Salem Train Depot is just 2 blocks away to take you South into Boston or North to scenic Cape Anne (Gloucester, Rockport). The inn is a short walk from Salem's ocean/waterfront, museums (Peabody Essex Museum , Witch museums) Common, Wharfs (Derby Wharf, Pickering Wharf , Salem Maritime National Historic Site), fine restaurants, and many other attractions. Come relax in our elegant, spacious, & peaceful accommodations. Experience the comfort of the 100% fine cotton linens, high quality "heavenly" (according to most guests) mattresses, premium down pillows & comforters that will make you feel like royalty. Each room has private full baths, queen beds, cable TV/DVD, hair dryer, iron & board, and hurricane lanterns & candles for a soothing ambience. The Inn's kitchen is bright, warm & sunny and opens out to a large alfresco sun deck & Japanese garden below. A complimentary hearty breakfast is served each morning from 8:00/8:30am to 10:00am, & includes fresh fruit, yogurt, cheese, quiche, and baked goods such as scones, muffins, sticky buns, coffee cake, and assorted breads that are either homemade or from A&J Kings local artisan bakery. For about the same price as a motel or hotel, you get a whole lot more, that is what business travelers are finding out. Complimentary amenities included with your rate are:

Our elegant suites feature period detail and is uniquely and tastefully furnished with original period antiques. Only the Captain's quarters and Garden room has a bathtub (with shower combo). Only the Captain's and Woodbury rooms feature marble fireplaces which are the original 1800's (non-working, but well stocked with candles & hurricane lanterns). Children are welcome. No smoking. No pets.
Deposit & Cancellation Policy
To avoid disappointment, advance reservations are recommended. A one night deposit is required to hold the reservation. Due to the inn's limited number of rooms, deposit is refunded in full with at least 14 days (30 days for October & major holidays) advance notice of cancellation. Cancellations with less than 14 days (30 days for October Halloween & major holidays) notice and no-shows will be charged the full amount unless the room(s) can be re-booked. All cancellations and reservation date changes are subject to a $25 (one night non-refundable deposit for October & major holidays) handling charge for reservations regardless of date of cancellation or change. Guests are responsible for payment of all nights reserved, regardless of actual arrival or departure date. Balances are due upon arrival (October reservations are due by Sept. 1st) for all nights reserved. We accept cash, travelers checks, personal checks, MC, VISA, and Discover. Your deposit is acceptance of this policy.

An advance deposit on a valid credit card will confirm the reservation immediately and will be charged at the time the reservation is made. A written confirmation will be sent upon deposit receipt. Check deposits can only be used if the reservation is made more than 2 weeks in advance and final payment must be received one week prior to arrival date. Certain rules apply to holidays, special events, and group reservations.
