Susan Darke is the Founder and Director of the Adoption Connection. Since being established in 1976 TAC has completed over 8000 searches. Susan is not only an adoptee but is also a birthmother and knows first hand the sensitivity required when a search is conducted. Susan was born and adopted in 1944 and then in 1962 gave birth to a son who she relinquished for adoption. Her commitment to search & reunion has been relentless, as well as her belief that each and every one of us have a right to our heritage and our story.

Our entire staff has had a personal experience with adoption, which makes them committed and sensitive to guide and advise on how to make contact along with working through the issues of Search & Reunion.
