Centrally located on beautiful Cape Cod, the Orleans Convalescent and Retirement Center operates two senior living facilities under one roof. The Orleans Convalescent Center provides long-term nursing care. The Orleans Retirement Center is an independent living community housed in a separate wing of the same building.
We are situated on a quiet, tree-lined street in a residential neighborhood, just off Route 28, that is within walking distance of the Orleans town center and its shops, markets, post office art galleries, churches and public library. Our open design on two levels creates a bright, home-like atmosphere. Nearly every living unit has direct access to a porch or patio. Traditional New England décor, antiques, and artwork can be seen throughout the building.
A dedicated, highly trained, and experienced staff attends to the residents’ personal needs for health, safely and comfort. This result is friendly, relaxed, not-institutional lifestyle based on OCRC’s 40 year tradition of care-giving in the region.
The Orleans Convalescent Home operates with a full staff of certified professionals who are committed to providing all residents with optimum health care. While medical treatment and safety are paramount, we also recognize the important role that non-medical services play in creating an overall sense of well-being and security for our residents.
At the Orleans Retirement Center, residents enjoy independent living in their private apartments without the worries of home ownership – but with the assurance that help is nearby in care of an emergency. Housekeeping, laundry service, and most utilities are included in the basic monthly rental fee.
We invite you to schedule a tour with our Administrator Mark S. Doyle, Assistant Administrator James DesRosiers or with our Director of Nursing Jo Anne Farley, RN.
