Cooking with coal brings the ovens up to 900 degrees. Their blazing temperatures cook the pizza fast, giving it a well done crust and creating flavor profiles that just can't be matched by any other cooking method.
Why don't more restaurants cook with coal? Well, it's a very complex and messy method that calls for a lot of 'TLC'. Fortunately, Angela's loves the challenge! What keeps us going is when guests tell us, "I can never eat pizza from anywhere else again!"
FIRST OF A KIND
Angela's is proudly owned and operated by our family and friends. Although this is our first venture into the restaurant industry, our love for food and family is what drives the restaurant's success. After experiencing coal fired pizza in other parts of the country, we decided to be the first ones to bring it to New England. Our first location opened in Saugus in November of 2007. Later in 2008, we brought Angela's to Tyngsboro, MA.

To those who know her, Angela Sideri is the most cherished and beloved individual in our family. She has shown nothing but unconditional love and support to everyone she has ever encountered. With a heart of gold and the strength of a rock, Nana Angela remains our driving force and represents the iconic symbol of our family's heritage, tireless work ethic, and passion for excellence. You never know; she may just greet you the next time you visit!
Both of our locations feature a full service dining room and bar areas with multiple plasma screen TVs. Our Tyngsboro location's large bar area allows for live music every Friday night and has optimal space to host parties and events. In Saugus, we feature a beautiful outdoor patio that captures the essence of a caf in Italy.

At Angela's we use only the best quality ingredients, we make virtually everything from scratch and we serve it to you hot, fast and fresh! The intense 900 degrees of heat generated in our coal fired ovens creates flavor profiles to our pizza and wings that just simply cannot be replicated by any other cooking method. Our traditional pizza starts with our homemade sauce using San Marzano plum tomatoes, premium mozzarella and romano cheese and is topped with fresh julian basil. Feel free to add as many of our delicious toppings as you like.
Vegetables: Roasted Sweet Peppers, Long Finger Hot Peppers, Roasted Mushrooms, Coal Fired Caramelized Onions, Fresh White Onions, Sliced Tomatoes, Broccoli, Spinach, Kalamata Olives, Roasted Garlic.
"Shrimp Aglio Oglio" - 1 2 lb of fresh shrimp sauted in olive oil with sliced garlic, fresh lemon juice and red pepper flakes for a kick. Served on top of cherry tomatoes & mozzarella, and finished with romano, parmesan and fresh basil. Bellissimo!.

Every month we stretch the limit to create a fun, original and unique pizza for you to try.
This month's pizza is the "Spicy Mexicana" - This pizza starts with a hot salsa, chicken, red onions and mozzarella cheese. We top it off with fresh avocado, scallions and cilantro and serve it with a side of sour cream. Your mouth will do the Mariachi! 14" $16.50
Our Famous Signature Coal Fired Wings are like nothing you have ever had before. We marinate the wings in lemon juice, olive oil, rosemary and garlic and slow roast them in our coal fired ovens. We pile them high on top of homemade focaccia bread and smother them with our coal fired caramelized onions.
We make our two salads with only the best quality hearts of romaine lettuce. They are cut fresh and made to order every day. We top our House Italian with our homemade pure olive oil and vinaigrette dressing, and our Caesar comes with homemade coal fired croutons and shaved parmesan cheese.

This is Angela's Secret Family Recipe that you have got to try! All we'll tell you is that we use a deep ruby red Italian wine with a blend of juices and fresh fruit. This is that sangria that makes you feel good!
At our Tyngsboro location, the large bar area allows us to do a little bit more than the average place. Every Friday night we feature local acoustic artists from 7-11pm. There's never a cover charge but we recommend that you come early if you want a seat!
