Fairlawn Earns Joint Commission Certification for Stroke Rehabilitation
The Joint Commission awarded the Gold Seal of ApprovalTM for stroke care to Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital. Fairlawn is one of only seven stroke rehabilitation programs in Massachusetts.
Fairlawn celebrated National Rehabilitation Week with a number of hospital-wide activities.
Fairlawn now hosts a Stroke Support Group on the fourth Wednesday of each month from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The group, open to stroke survivors, their families, and members of the community, meets in the first floor cafeteria. Refreshments are served. For more information, call 508-791-6351, Ext. 393 or 255.
