Bill Elliott to drive the #26 at Talladega After a extraordinary run last weekend at Martinsville, Latitude 43 Motorsports has hired 1988 Series Champion Bill Elliott to drive its' #26 Air Guard Ford Fusion at Talladega Superspeedway.
Since 1976, Elliott has participated in close to 750 races, achieved 44 wins, collected 55 career poles and amassed winnings of some $73 million. With all of his incredible success, he still remains humble, stating, "We are all motivated by certain things. Of course, winning is one of them, but for me, the fans have always been the biggest motivational factor. I've said this over and over-our fans are the backbone of this sport and they are the reason we are able to do what we do."
Ken Schrader Comes home 18th at Martinsville!! Latitude 43 Motorsports LLC brought in Short Track ace Ken Schrader with hopes of a good run and got just that. After qualifying 38th for the Tums 500 at Martinsville, the veteran Schrader drove up through the field. Ken even led the field for 6 circuits around the Martinsville 1/2 mile as well. The 18th place finish brought us within 165 points of the top 35.
