Welcome to Brandi Rae's School of Dance! We are conveniently located at 116 Cochituate Road (Rt 30), Framingham, Massachusetts near the intersection of Route 30 & Route 126 and easily accessible from Route 9.
Dance class offerings include Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Pointe, Hip Hop, Modern, Lyrical, Creative Movement, Preschool Classes & More!
All Ages from 2 Years through Adult & All Levels from Beginner to Advanced are welcome! Class Registration is ongoing throughout the year.
Our goal is to provide a positive, educational, enlightening and fun dance experience. Whether or not one wishes to pursue a professional career, correct dance training is a valuable asset that cannot be equaled. We know you have a choice of dance schools and we want you to feel confident that we will continue to strive to meet all of your needs. Our customer is always our number one priority.
The dance school was formerly known as "The School of Dance Arts" and was previously owned and directed by Paula Scardino for 33 years. Brandi Rae Lochiatto took over as owner and director in 2003, changing the school name.
Brandi Rae's School of Dance was voted #1 Dance School in Framingham in 2006 & 2007 by the Readers Choice Awards. In 2008 & 2009, the school was awarded Bronze for Regional Favorites and also received Honorable Mention in Framingham for Dance/Gymnastics Schools in 2008 and #1 Dance School in 2009.

BRANDI RAE LOCHIATTO, DIRECTOR - Brandi graduated from UMass Amherst in 1992 with a BFA in Dance. She has taught, choreographed and performed throughout Massachusetts for dance studios, dance companies, public and private schools, non-profit organization, camps, musicals, competitions, community theatres, college cheerleading squads and daycare centers. She's been a member of "Moving West Repertory Dance Theatre" since 1992 and recently performed in March 2010 in Framingham at the "Performing Arts Center of MetroWest", where she has been a Staff Member, Musical Choreographer, Assistant Director and School Director. This is Brandi's seventh year as director of Brandi Rae's School of Dance. "Dance is and has always been her love, her passion, and her true joy."
Joni Rose Lebov - Joni was a former student of Mrs. Scardino and has been teaching at The School of Dance Arts, now known as Brandi Rae's School of Dance, for over 20 years. She began her training at age 4 and is a graduate of Framingham South High School and a graduate of the Boston Conservatory where she was a dance major. Joni is a member of the Dance Teachers Club of Boston and the American Society of Dance Teachers. She also teaches for the Recreation Department for the towns of Ashland and Weston.
Jennifer Dangelo - Jennifer was a former student of Mrs. Scardino for 15 years where she trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Pointe. She was a dance major at Dean College and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in 2003. Jennifer also teaches at Center Stage in Hudson, Dancer's Workshop in Sudbury, Backstage in Ashland and at the YMCA in the summer. Her daycare center teachings include Circle of Friends & Over The Rainbow in Framingham, and Bright Horizons . Jennifer is also a member of the Dance Teachers Club of Boston.
Allison Cummings - Allison was a former student for 13 years at The School of Dance Arts. She studied ballet, tap, jazz and pointe, taught pre-school ballet, and choreographed and performed hip-hop routines. Allison graduated in 2005 with a B.S. in Mathematics from UMass Amherst where she continued her studies in ballet and jazz. She has performed in hip-hop talent shows and has taught jazz/hip-hop at The Performing Arts Center and through the Winter Scene program at Hemingway Elementary School in Framingham. She also performs and choreographs for the non-profit arts organization, Stylized Movement, of which she is a board member. She has been teaching at Brandi Rae's School of Dance since 2005 and also teaches at Center Stage in Hudson.
