Many of our visitors ask this question. Here's our story:

Lunkers opened for business back in 1995 as a small "Bait & Tackle" Shop on Union St, Ashland Ma.
Looking to expand our business we moved to our current location in Downtown Ashland.

With more room to work with and looking to stabilize our business year-round, we began offering Hearth and Fireplace supplies.
Think of us as a full service Chimney and Stove Outfitter...we offer Bait and Fishing tackle for your outdoor adventures and keep you nice and warm when it's time to stay indoors!

We provide installation and full service for every stove, fireplace and accessory we offer. As simple as this seems, this is rarely the case with most hearth retailers around. Keep this in mind when considering purchasing a new stove, as it is likely that you will need service after the sale.

Fishing bait and tackle is how we started, and we continue to offer great variety and selection.
We also carry a fair selection of camping and hunting supplies.
In Winter, when Ice-fishing season arrives, we have all the equipment necessary for a day on the ice, including Power Ice augers, Ice Fishing traps and sleds.
Don't forget the Live Bait, and ours is always fresh and has the best reputation around, so our customers tell us. Yes, we sell Shiners...don't need to ask! We have great variety of Saltwater frozen bait as well.
In contrast to the "Mega Retailers" out there , we offer a unique perspective. Our hands-on experience cannot be replaced. We love the outdoors, and so do our loyal customers. We offer services such as rod and reel repair, and are always glad to special order hard-to-find items.,
