Grateful Spirit Massage and Wellness of Newburyport was created by Kristin Harrison to offer healing of body, mind and spirit through therapeutic touch and movement.
What Is Unique About My Services:
The essence of my work is holistic in nature as I chose to treat the body, mind and spirit as a whole. I have a solid background in exercise physiology and anatomy, which allows me to address the physical systems of the body.
As a Reiki Master, I have additional knowledge in treating the emotional and energetic systems of the body as well. Reiki is an ancient Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Through my experience, I have found that using a holistic approach allows ones body to heal on a deeper level from the root cause, as opposed to just treating ones physical symptoms.
I have a special interest, and specialized training, in providing therapeutic touch to seniors, for oncology support, and to those in hospice care. Therapeutic hot stones and all natural aromatherapy are included during ones sessions at no additional cost.In the instance that massaging with hot stones may be contraindicated to ones condition, the therapeutic stones can be safely used on ones hands and feet.
