Three floors of spacious private rooms are elevator accessible. Each floor has a separate area for entertaining or relaxing.
Residents are encouraged to personalize their rooms with furnishings, decorations, television (cable available), and air conditioning. Spacious parking for residents and their guests allows unrestricted access.
Incorporated in 1856, the Stevens-Bennett Home is the oldest retirement residence in the Haverhill area. Throughout the years, promoting a community which emphasizes dignity, individualism, and independence while providing supervised assistance in activities of daily living has remained our focus.
Specially trained certified nursing aides are on duty 24 hours a day to administer the medications and oversee the health needs of the residents. The activity director arranges a program with the residents' requests in mind - from Bingo to a Broadway review - from ecumenical religious services to exercise groups - and from poetry readings to restaurant trips. Three home-cooked meals a day are served under glittering chandeliers in the dining room. Housekeeping and laundry services are also available.
The Stevens-Bennett Home is easily found on Rte. 125 - Main Street in Haverhill Massachusetts just 1 1/2 miles from exit 51A off Rte. 495. Please feel free to call the Administrator with questions pertaining to the scope of services provided, admission procedures, or to arrange for a tour.
