Synthetic Stucco Systems
Todd Rivers, Inc. specializes in the use of Sto and Dryuit systems. Our crews are experienced in all type of Exterior Insulation Finish Systems (EIFS) including moisture drainage systems, and hard coat systems. We are also experienced in restoration of existing EIFS or stucco systems.
Shown to the right is a correct isolation joint at a window. This is retrofit job on a 9 year old home. The EPS was backwrapped and covered with base coat. A closed cell backer rod was then installed in the joint. Dow 795 sealant was applied in the proper shape and size. The minimum Isolation joint width shall be 1/2 inch and the sealant bond must be between only two surfaces.
