Finding a safe, loving environment for your child is essential in your search for care for your child. For over 30 years, Humpty Dumpty School has served Reading and the surrounding communities offering a warm stimulating place for children to explore and grow. At Humpty Dumpty School our classrooms are small keeping low children-teacher ratios. Our curriculum is is individualized to meet the child’s needs. We offer full and part time programs for infants, toddlers, preschool and transitional-K. Check the links to the left to learn more about Humpty Dumpty School.
The Humpty Dumpty School offers infant, toddler, preschool, pre-k, and a transition program (for children who need an extra year before kindergarten or miss the cut-off date for kindergarten).
At Humpty Dumpty School we attempt to further each child’s growth in the areas of social and emotional development, language development, creativity, physical ability (both large and small muscle control), and cognitive and perceptual skills. We do this by offering a variety of activities. Because each child is developing differently, we strive to meet each child’s developmental level, while encouraging challenges.
We help your child to feel comfortable away from home, to feel secure with other adults and to begin to form positive relationships with their peers.
Our programs provide unlimited opportunities for the development of the whole child. There’s a unique curriculum for every age level, centered around developmentally appropriate and fun activities to help children develop physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially.
Our dedicated and professional staff consists of a director and a team of warm, caring teachers. Each teacher must complete at least 20 hours of outside workshops to keep up with changes in the field of Early Childhood. All staff is selected for their warmth and responsiveness to children, and is certified in First Aid & CPR.
The Humpty Dumpty School is located at 174 Lowell Street (Rt 129) in Reading, conveniently located right off of 93 and 128. Our beautiful playground is completely fenced in and contains a sand box, picnic tables and various outdoor equipment for your child's physical development and outdoor learning experiences.
The indoor classrooms are clean, bright rooms which are furnished with the finest child care equipment and arranged into special interest areas. The warm personal environment is secure and fun and promotes an inquisitive attitude. The school is designed to give children time for independently chosen activities as well as time for structured learning experiences.
