We are Debbie and Gary Trechok the owners of Independent Travel Associates ( ITA) in Kingston Massachusetts , a fourteen-year-old full service retail travel agency. Although we provide personalized service we are part of Vacation.com, a Consortium of over 2500 travel agents in the USA and Canada . Our staff’s personal trips have included twenty Caribbean Islands , Belize , Iceland , Europe , US, Canada , Mexican Riviera and numerous exciting destinations. Many of our experiences include unique adventures, such as SCUBA diving, horseback riding, helicopters, bi-planes, caving and rafting.
We combined many of these activities on one of the biggest adventures of our life. It was our “ Fairy Tale” Ancient Hawaiian wedding on New Years Eve 2003 on a beach in Wailea Maui. This exotic traditional ceremony by the Great grandson of the last Queen of Hawaii included a “circle of flowers”, a conch trumpeter and romantic chants extolling the importance of respect for individual in marriage and the elements in nature. The Honeymoon rounded out the excitement with other Maui highlights; sunrise over Haliakulah, snorkeling in the Molokini crater, helicopter flights over the waterfall lined valleys of Molokai, and horseback riding in Hana on the side of a volcano.
“ Destination Weddings” or “ Wedding-moons” have become increasingly popular as an option to the conventional wedding. We have arranged numerous Weddings and Honeymoons in Hawaii , the Caribbean , Tahiti and the ultimate Fantasy Disney world. We can provide travel arrangements for friends and family and work closely with the on-site wedding coordinator to take care of every detail of you special day.
