Showing Our True Colors
You are the light of the world - like a city on a mountain, glowing in the night for all to see. Don't hide your light under a basket! Instead, put it on a stand and let it shine for all. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father. (Matthew 5:14-16 NLT)
On a recent trip through New England I enjoyed some beautiful fall foliage. I have traveled the same route during all the seasons and always marvel at the changing landscape. Why Go To Church? Hebrews 10:19-25
A Churchgoer wrote a letter to the editor of a newspaper and complained that it made no sense to go to church every Sunday.
"I've gone for 30 years now," he wrote, "and in that time I have heard something like 3,000 sermons. But for the life of me, I can't remember a single one of them..
So, I think I'm wasting my time and the pastors are wasting theirs by giving sermons at all." read more...
