Preaching/teaching that is centered on the Bible
Ministries to meet the spiritual needs of every age
An opportunity to worship God and grow together
Rev. Mikel Williams will be the speaker at the men's prayer breakfast, November 20th.
Have you been coming to Elmwood Chapel a while? Maybe you should consider taking the next step. Becoming a church member is a sign that you are making a commitment to the church. Church members can vote and serve on boards. In our culture, commitment is a scary word, but making a commitment to a church can keep you on an even keel. As long as you keep your commitment and keep coming, you will always have the church to connect you to our Lord. We are Welcoming New Members on Sunday, November 21st (originally scheduled for the 14th, it was postponed so the Nelsons can be there).
The Missions Board is collecting shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child. The last day to drop off shoe boxes is Sunday, November 21. Contact Bonnie or Patricia if you have any questions.
Every year we have a Thanksgiving Service on Thanksgiving Day at 10AM. It's a time to sit quietly and meditate on all the blessings that God has given us throughout the year. Come, tell God how thankful you truly are.
On Sunday, November 28 there will be a Pot-Providence dinner immediately after service. If you forgot about the last one, this will give you another chance to show what you can do! If you can't cook, don't worry; you can always bring drinks or fresh fruit. Let Marie know what you plan to bring.
The children of Elmwood Chapel will be collecting non-perishable food items for the elderly of the area. Baskets will be set up in the back of the sanctuary to receive donations until Sunday, November 28. Contact Kathy if you have any questions.
