About The Elephant Walk

The Elephant Walk is family-owned and operated. We have been serving award-winning Cambodian and French cooking since 1991.
With locations in Boston, Cambridge, and Waltham, The Elephant Walk is convenient to Greater Bostonians from nearly all points.
Our Cambodian and French theme is an authentic reflection of our founders Cambodian ethnic and French cultural heritages. - We apologize [sort of!] for not being terribly easy to define. Frankly, we struggle with our identity a bit ourselves because The Elephant Walk is really a tapestry woven of so many different and distinct personal histories. - Accordingly, we invite you to view our first video, "Accidental Chefs," which helps introduce the unusual and complicated backgrounds of our chef-owners, and thereby begins to explain why The Elephant Walk is what it is!
Our bi-cultural menus satisfy our diverse clienteles many hungers for both exotic - Cambodian, for the most part - and familiar dishes - French, mostly -and for a broad range of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free choices. This diversity of options makes The Elephant Walk perfect for special events, both personal and professional. - Our award-winning wine lists add polish to your dining experience; our knowledgeable and personable service staff serve up the charm.
Finally, for those interested in learning more about our culinary and cultural influences, our chefs teach a broad range of cooking classes year-round, on Cambodian, French, Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten-Free and Fusion cuisines.
We look forward to serving you soon!

Our latest award: Best Gluten-Free Menu!

What a good many celiacs have been telling us for a long time, Boston Phoenix readers have made official: In their opinion The Elephant Walk has the Best Gluten-Free Menu in Greater Boston!
