"The Living Garden"
Oct 23 Nov 14Garden has come to mean many things. A place where our creativity and aesthetics meet with natures energy to create a variety of expressions. A place to enjoy and meet with living things. A place where we can return to a more natural sense of time and growth. No matter how small the garden is, it can have an enormous impact on our daily life. This idea of the garden and all it's metaphors become the unifying theme for our next group exhibition.

Watercolor workshop held on a picturesque farmhouse in E. Burke Vermont.
“Dances and Meditations”
Saturday, October 9th 7pm at the Kaji Aso Studios in Boston. This concert will include Premiers of new works by composers James Bohn (faculty at Providence College), Stephanie Lubkowski (faculty at Boston University) and Timothy Melbinger (faculty at Penn State). It will also feature new arrangements of works by Daniel Pinkham, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Ernesto Cordero and Radiohead. The performers include Longy Almuni Elizabeth Burke (violin), Rachael Chagat (soprano) and George Little (guitar). For more info go to

This years tour will focus on haiku and the haiku masters of Japan: Basho, Buson, Issa, and Shiki. Our tour will visit shrines and temples associated with these great haiku masters as well as other locations in Japan made famous in their poetry.
