As individuals, families and parishes, our mission as the Diocese of Worcester is to respond joyfully to Christs call to become more fully the People of God. Though imperfect, we are a blessed people striving to participate in Christs mission of reaching out to all. Therefore, we accept the Gospel challenge, which calls us to bring another to a deeper knowledge and love of God. Since God calls us to live in community in the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves in this time and place to becoming a prayerful and faith-filled Church that truly reflects the glory of God.

Worldwide Vigil for all Unborn Human Life

All are invited to join Bishop McManus for Vespers, Eucharistic Adoration, and Benediction on November 28 at 7:00 p.m. at the Cathedral of St. Paul at the Vigil for all Unborn Human Life. In an unprecedented request, Pope Benedict XVI has asked Catholics throughout the world to join him on the First Sunday of Advent to invoke the Lords protection on every human being, especially those whose lives are most vulnerable and under attack in our world today. Please join us in solidarity and prayerful witness to the dignity of each human person. The Cathedral is located at the corner of Chatham and High Streets in Worcester. (handicap access from the lower lot on Chatham Street)
