Ross & Ross - Serving Western Massachusetts Since 1931
Our AV-rated* law firm was founded more than 75 years ago, when John D. Ross of Holyoke bought a typewriter, office furniture and a law library from a retiring attorney in 1931. Ever since then, the Ross family has maintained a tradition of outstanding client service for western Massachusetts businesses and families. Generations of Trusted Legal Advice and Distinguished Legal Services
From the very start, civil trials and appeals have formed the core of our firm's work. When our senior partner John D. Ross, Jr., joined his father's practice in 1948 to give our firm its current name, we emphasized negligence, personal injury, and insurance defense litigation. Our practice has since expanded to add business and commercial law, real estate and zoning law, estate planning, and corporate law to the range of services we provide to both local and national clients.
Each of our lawyers today has deep roots in Springfield and the surrounding communities. When Cauleen Ross Kearney and John D. Ross, III, joined the firm in 1985, a third generation of Ross attorneys continued the family tradition of professional distinction and committed client service first established by their grandfather in 1931.
Today we represent clients as diverse as local family restaurants, new businesses and partnerships, first-time homebuyers, commercial real estate developers, and car accident or motorcycle crash victims. Our personal injury lawyers stay abreast of dram shop laws and hit and run liability laws to ensure our clients have the most up-to-date advice regarding their case.
We also remain aware that our tradition and reputation present a continuing challenge as much as a source of strength. To see how our attorneys today work to live up to the client service standards established in previous generations, please contact a personal injury lawyer or land use attorney at Ross & Ross in Springfield.
