Whirl Wind Farm is a full service boarding kennel providing bathing and grooming services, boarding and obedience training all in one convenient place. Whirl Wind farm was established in 1960 by Dr. F.G. Ruder Jr., and is still run by his daughter Anne S. Maxson.
Each pet is provided with his or her own "room" with attached outdoor run. We also have several family suites which allow pets who prefer to share a "room" with another family pet to have a little extra space to relax and play in.
We believe in playtime. We can take your dog for a walk on our beautiful grounds. Enjoy peace of mind while your pet enjoys expert care in a bucolic country setting.
We provide bathing and grooming services. Baths start at $25 and most grooms can be done for under $45. All prices depend on size, condition and amount of coat.
Along with Dog Boarding, Cat Boarding and Grooming, we also offer Obedience Training. 1 1/2 hour long obedience classes are held at intervals throughout the year. Classes run for four weeks and provide basic obedience and a start on intermediate training.
