The Springfield Conservatory of Music originated in downtown Springfield and is now centrally located on Sumner Avenue for students of all surrounding towns to attend. Our location changed to a more convenient commute while our quality of instruction continues to excel.
Since 1902 we have provided music lessons to students of all ages. Generations of families have trusted us with their music education. We are proud to be the oldest established private music school in the Pioneer Valley due to the success of our students. Thousands of students have developed their musical skills by taking lessons with us. We do not believe we are the best because we are the oldest. Instead we believe we continue to teach hundreds of students each year because families think we are the best.
Our experience with the Springfield Conservatory of Music has been positively phenomenal! Learning to play the piano has taught both of our sons an enriching life lesson while at the same time they are havingfun and enjoying new types and styles of music. The recitals held by the Conservatory offer family, friends and the public to enjoy the hard work and dedication of all of the students. The personalized attention of the staff of the Springfield Conservatory of Music has made our 5+ years very enjoyable!

Coming here is an enjoyable experience. There is a wonderful atmosphere in the studios and its nice to see all of the instruments taught.
