We were incredibly lucky to find Ken Lieberman! Having recently moved from California, we knew essentially nothing about the Pioneer Valley real estate market. Although we owned property in California, we found the differences to be striking. On our own, we looked at a few properties and were at a loss as to how to assess their value. This is when we found Ken.
Ken went to great lengths to educate us about property here, what to look for, what to ask, and what to avoid. On many occasions he steered us away from investments that were not in our best interests. He was exceptionally good at listening and quickly understood our needs and the type of property we were looking for. We came to trust his judgment and value his integrity immensely. Ken was always available to us and beyond patient with our request to look at many different kinds of houses in several communities.
When we finally decided on a property to purchase, Ken handled all of the details with great professionalism, effectiveness, and efficiency. Again, we felt he was clearly looking out for our best interests.
In addition to Kens attentiveness, his assistant Dave could not have been more helpful with our many questions. Both Ken and Dave made buying a house in the Pioneer Valley a pleasurable experience and as stress-free as possible. We have recommended Ken and will continue to do so.

We had been looking for a house in Amherst for a few years off and on when we contacted Ken about one of his listings. He showed us a few houses and we found the perfect house within a couple of days. We are now very happily settled into our beautiful new home thanks to Ken and Daves hard work.
Part of what made working with them so wonderful was that Ken kept our interests in mind at all times. We had had some unfortunate experiences with another realtor: competing buyers would mysteriously appear at exactly the moment we were considering a purchase, and then disappear when we moved on; intense pressure would be applied to put in an offer with little time to think; and we felt we were treated like a salespersons mark. With Ken we always felt, in contrast, that we were working with an agent in the best sense. He looked out for our interests, and didnt put closing the deal above all else the way some salespeople do.
Since we were relocating from out of town, we also had to rely on Ken and Dave for all manner of local logistics. They helped us research contractors, codes and conditions and were always willing to check on this or that detail. They cheerfully accommodated our requests, and got an answer to, or found resources to answer, any question we came up with.
Last, and most importantly, Ken was able to manage the transaction with an attorneys thoroughness and clarity, and we were able to work through issues calmly and dispassionately. This was particularly helpful when negotiating the deal, and allowed us to keep an even keel when working through the potentially fraught moments of the transaction.
