Our collection leans toward the academic, but we have thousands of books, on just about everything from Austen and anarchy to Zola and zoology. Our books are generally half-price, including recent publisher's overstocks. Dont look for our catalogue on line; were not that bookstore. But if we cant find the book youre looking for, well find you a better one you didnt know you wanted.
The Montague Mill is also home to Louise Minks art studio and the newest outpost of the Turn It Up! music and movie empire. You can dine at the extraordinary Night Kitchen and you can get food and drink all day deep into the night at the astonishing Lady Killigrew Cafe.
We have a weekly movie night in the winter, and concerts and performances the rest of the year. The Bookmill is unique, a lovely place where you can happily be lost for hours. We've been lost for years now.
